I live in Jefferson City with my husband of 12 years, Steve and our 3 year old daughter Emma. I graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1997 and immediately started working as an Orthodontic Assistant, for which I have always had a love. I am certified in basic skills and expanded functions. I have been employed with Dr. Rowan since October 2008. I love being able to help patients achieve their beautiful smiles and I love being able to visit with lots of people every day.

I started working for Dr. Rowan in February 2001 as a Scheduling Coordinator. I worked for 14 years prior to coming to work for Dr. Rowan in the dental field. I am now the part time Marketing Coordinator.
One of my hobbies is designing one of a kind wire and bead jewelry. I enjoy spending time with my six grand children and traveling with my husband.

I graduated from Eldon High School in 2006, then attended State Fair Community College, where I finished the prerequisites for Dental Hygiene. After finishing my prerequisites I then transferred to Nichols Career Center where I graduated May 2008 with my Basic Skills and CDA (Certified Dental Assistant). I then came to work for Dr. Rowan in August 2008. I married my high school sweetheart in November 2008, we had our daughter Briley in August 2009. We now live in Russellville in a home that we bought in January 2010. I love working for Dr. Rowan, it’s the reason I’ve also wanted to work in the dental field. When I was in the 7th grade I came to Dr. Rowan’s office with my friend who at the time had braces and it was the most AWESOME place. Plus, I get to see all of our lovely patients smiles change over time.
Tina
I came to work for Dr. Rowan in October 2008 as his Financial Coordinator, handling all the day to day financial needs of the office. After receiving my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration from Linn State Technical College I entered the work force. I am also working towards my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at Columbia College.
I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and floating the Gasconade River with my family and friends in my spare time. Collecting cookbooks is my favorite hobby; I even traveled to Savannah, GA to have one autographed by Paula Deen (The Lady & Son’s Restaurant).
Dori
I am Dr. Rowan’s Scheduling Coordinator. I am married to Leon Lawson and have a daughter Jackie, who resides in Chicago.
I was a dental assistant for 14 years: 2 years working in general dentistry in Lee’s Summit, 2 years for an oral surgeon in Kansas City and 10 years at the Veteran’s Hospital in Kansas City.
I left the dental field to become the State Director for the Mrs. Missouri Pageant and Superintendent for the Miss Missouri State Fair Pageant in Sedalia. I moved to Jefferson City in 1997 and settled here since then.

Carol
I began working as the Insurance Coordinator part time for Dr. Rowan in January 2003. I retired from the Missouri School for the Deaf (MSD) in Fulton, Missouri. I worked for MSD for 29 ½ years. I always worked in the Media Department and was supervisor of that department for my last 8 years. My other responsibilities are the “putting together” of the “Smile With Style” monthly newsletters and the BIG fun contests for our patients.
My husband and I disassembled a 16’ x 20’ 2-story log cabin (1896) from Chamois, Missouri and used it when we built our home in 1995. We enjoy primitive antiquing and are always on the search for yellow ware, graniteware, early Missouri pottery and early quilts.
In the summer months, I enjoy working in flower beds and to get away from that work, we enjoy camping at Pomme de Terre Lake. During the long winter months, I am an avid men’s college basketball fan.
We have 2 children who live in the area and 2 GRAND children!!!
Anne
I have worked for Dr. Rowan twice now. I have been a Receptionist, the Insurance Coordinator, the Financial Coordinator and I am currently the Treatment Coordinator. I help our new patients walk through the process of starting orthodontic treatment and helping them understand what we will be working on together over the next few years.
I have worked in the medical and dental field my entire career and have enjoyed every aspect of both of these fields. However, being the Treatment Coordinator is by far the best position I’ve been a part of. I enjoy meeting all our patients, helping them understand what orthodontics is about and love getting them set on their way to happy, new, smiling faces.
I look forward to everyday and meeting all the wonderful people that walk through our door.
